Welcome! I am an incoming assistant professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.

I study international security and political violence with a focus on war, nuclear politics, and peacebuilding. I study three core questions about violence: (a) How does violence shape domestic and international politics? (b) How are the lessons of violence transmitted to subsequent generations? (c) How can we design and evaluate policy interventions that prevent the recurrence of violence and promote sustainable peace?

My articles are published in Journal of Conflict Resolution, Comparative Political Studies, The Nonproliferation Review, and Asian Survey. My academic works have been supported by grants from Seoul National University (SNU), Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), and the UniKorea Foundation.
